Hello everyone, thanks for coming by and looking at our site. My name is Vance Altman and live in the small town of McEwen, Tn. I have lived here for about 9 years and before that I was around West Memphis, AR.

When I was growing up the greatest thing I new of was Revell Models. I would try to get a new one every month. I had planes, boats, cars, trucks, tanks, space ships and every thing I could get that looked good. I had them by 100's. With the spare parts and the parts that I would make I had my own collection of scratch build that was awesome.

Then came the military and 7-1/2 years spent with no time for modeling.
During this time my models were sold, broke, trashed or given away, I have never really found out what happened to them all.

Next came trying to make a living in the world.

I have been into model trains for over 6 years and have found it to be a challenge. The trains themselves are not the part that attracts my attention as much as the modeling. That's right up my lane. Me I like to build the models, the train is secondary. It's something to add for the icing on the layout.

The point of all this is I love modeling and have a Gift of

"If I can see it I can build it."

All I need is some good pictures or be able to look at it first hand.

As I move through this hobby, I can only hope to inspire others with new ideas and creations of the era past and present. And be able to help them with their modeling experience and make it a joy for life. I only now wish that I had started many years ago with the modeling of railroads and their scenery.
